This semester, two sisters will be leaving to start new chapters of their lives.
LeAnn Koski (Delta Phi) graduated with a degree in Exercise Science. She will start Physical Therapy school at Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, MI on May 18th, 2009. LeAnn will attend PT school year-round for 3 years.
During her time at Michigan Tech, LeAnn was not only in Delta Phi Epsilon, but also in the Blue Key Honor Society, Order of Omega and Intramural Sports. She was also named the 2009 Woman of Promise in the Exercise Science Department at Michigan Tech.
In the sorority, LeAnn held many positions, including President, Vice President of Operations, Vice President Member at Large, Director of Finance, New Member Educator and Secretary.
Kelsey Boyer (Delta Chi) will continue on to do student teaching at Calumet High School during the fall of 2009. She will be teaching Economics & Government to 12th grade students. After her term of student teaching, she will graduate with a degree in Secondary Education with concentrations in Social Science & Earth Science.
During her time at DPhiE, Kelsey held the positions of Vice President of Programming, Vice President of Academics & Sunshine Chair. As the Vice President of Academics, Kelsey introduced Individual Academic Plans that helped raise many sisters' GPAs.
After graduation, Kelsey plans to start substitute teaching and will apply for Eastern Michigan's Graduate school of Educational Leadership - Higher Education of Student Affairs. Eventually she would like to move back to the Ann Arbor area.
