The Epsilon Lambda chapter holds service in high regard. We continually are trying to come up with new ways to help out within the community.
Delta Phi Epsilon is involved in many service and philanthropy projects, not just locally but nationally. We have three national philanthropies that we are avid sponsors of, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF), Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), and the Delta Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation. Locally, we support the Barbara Kettle Gundlach Shelter.
Annually, we support CFF by teeter-tottering 36 hours straight during Winter Carnival. We have also held a date auction to support ANAD. We also participate in local events held around the community. For the past two years, Delta Phi Epsilon has sponsored a Make a Difference Day project, painting the Dial Help center. We can also be seen helping at Bridge Fest in the summer. Our members participate in other community activities outside of the sorority. We can be found helping out at Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Girl Scouts of America, Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly, and the Humane Society.
